In the second quarter of 2025, the top tools apps on the Android platform in Germany showcased varied performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps experienced changes in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

QR & Barcode Scanner saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 49K and peaking at approximately 65.6K in late April. Active users grew from 2.1M to 2.6M by early June, despite a dip mid-quarter.

Google Authenticator maintained a steady download rate, increasing from 41.8K to over 58K in early May. Its active user base showed a general upward trend, reaching a high of 1.5M by the end of June.

Google Translate experienced consistent download numbers, hovering around 40K to 48K weekly. Active users peaked at over 5.2M in early June, with slight fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile had steady weekly downloads, ranging from 40K to 50.8K. Active users showed some variation, peaking at 444K in late May.

All Video Downloader & Player experienced a decline in both downloads and active users, with downloads dropping from 39K to 28.3K and active users decreasing from 391K to 284K by the end of June.
